The Madison County Volunteer Lawyers program will host a free Expungement and Voters Rights Restoration Clinic. All appointments will be taken on a walk-in basis. Counsel and Advice/Limited Scope representation only will be provided for filing expungement and voter rights restoration documents for clients. No prior criminal or expungement experience is necessary.

Eligible litigants are matched with a volunteer lawyer who will provide advice and limited scope representation in Judge McCord's, Montgomery County District Civil Docket on eviction, debt collection, garnishments, and Small Claims/ District Court civil cases.

Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham provides free legal help to qualified tenants and low-income homeowners in a variety of civil legal matters including, housing, evictions, foreclosures, debt collection, wage garnishment, powers of attorney, Small Claims Court issues and Wills.
