DESCRIPTION:The Pro Bono Month Celebration Task Force is launching the inaugural Pro Bono Book Club. DESCRIPTION:This CLE webinar will provide an overview of common Alabama Ethics Act issues and questions that attorneys frequently have. The one-hour program is a free service of the Alabama State Bar to its members that has been arranged by the leadership of the Alabama State Bar. \nIt is approved for 1.0 MCLE Credit\, including one ethics hour. \nThe presentation will be moderated by Ellen Brooks who has recently been serving as the interim Executive Director of the Alabama State Bar and who before that spent several decades as one of Alabama’s most respected prosecutors including over 20 years as the District Attorney of Montgomery County. \nThe presenters will be: \nOthni Lathram – Currently the Director of Alabama’s Legislative Services Agency\, which houses a number of legislative agencies that support the Legislature\, and who has assisted in the drafting of numerous ethics laws and proposals for state policymakers.
